Vista Health Plan of South Florida offers a variety of affordable healthcare plans and benefits to members in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties, as well as 21 counties in North Florida from Ocala to Pensacola. The 300,000 Florida residents and 10,000 employers who are members of Vista have access to services from approximately 6,000 participating healthcare providers.
In 2005, Vista revenues exceeded $1 billion, and membership was almost 300,000. With an extensive network of more than 5,000 participating physicians and hospitals, Vista is one of South Florida’s largest health insurance providers. In North Florida, there are more than 1,500 physicians and 16 hospitals that are delivering healthcare services to 50,000 plan members in the area. Vista is also accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Through its network of affiliates, Vista Health Plan of South Florida is able to provide quality healthcare and benefits for the best price possible to all of its members. Both employers and individuals have many choices for affordable, quality plans and products. Included in the choices are HMO, POS, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, Florida Health Kids and Vista’s individual health benefits plans. In addition, Vista is able to offer members consumer driven health plans that provide members with more choices, flexibility, and most important, control over their own personal healthcare decisions.
