Medical Mutual of Ohio Health plans include the Standard plan which offers quality coverage at an affordable price and is a viable option for those people who don’t have access to group health coverage. There is an option that includes $25 co-pay for office visits and routine physical examinations. The deductibles for this plan can range from $500 to $2500 with an 80% coinsurance once the deductible has been met. The Standard plan without the co-pay option has deductibles ranging from $2500 to $10,000.
Medical Mutual also offers a Value plan. This plan is priced less than the Standard plan but it does provide coverage for unexpected and catastrophic medical emergencies, as well as qualified office visits. The deductibles for this plan vary from $500 to $1500 with low monthly premiums.
The third plan available to Medical Mutual members is the Health Savings Account (HSA). This plan offers quality, high deductible coverage along with the opportunity to establish a tax-free account which can be used to cover legitimate medical expenses. Deductibles range from $2500 to $5000 with 100% coinsurance for office visits, preventative care, and emergency room visits (once the deductible has been met).
