Consumers who choose AmeriHealth HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) for their health insurance coverage are able to select their primary care physician from a wide network of doctors. Wellness programs and the Connections program are both available to members who subscribe to the AmeriHealth HMO plan. The Wellness programs offer discounts on alternative health care services and also provide reimbursements for qualified fitness activities. Chronic health conditions are managed through the Connections Program.
